many motorcycles are extremely fast here is the list of miles per hour on each cc engine
*50cc = 30mph
*125cc = 70mph
*250cc = 100
*1000cc = 250 mph
my personal favorite type of riding is the dangerous kind, its called Supermoto although its extremely fun DON'T do it on the road as it puts your life on the line, I would most recommend doing it in a non busy parking lot, where theres enough space to do wheelies burnouts rolling burnouts doughnuts so on and so forth.

long distance trips
if your looking to enjoy a nice cross country ride the best bike for you is a Harley Davidson cruiser or a Honda gold wing. The variety of cruisers harley davidson has available is insane but even more insane is the honda gold wing its a car inside a motorcycle, you have radio for music or if you just want to listen to the news or weather forecast, it has many buttons to experiment with each with their own individual features, it really is a very special bike to own.
track day
track days really are a glorious thing for a very specific rider, the speedster. if your not looking to get a ticket for speeding then track days are for you (not recommended for the faint hearted) but watch out for the riders who are faster than you, id recommend experiencing the rest for yourself.
so as you can see there are many types of motorcycles and for different types of riders go get one and watch out for stupid drivers
